Corinthia London

Stephanie Sansiveri is appointed as Head of Sales for the Eastern Region of the USA by Corinthia London. Stephanie, a high-end hotel sales specialist in the US, will be based in New York City and responsible for sourcing, developing and account managing the business in the NYC and Tristate area for Corinthia London, as well as the Eastern seaboard. Stephanie joined Corinthia London from Lotte New York Palace and Towers where she was Assistant Director of Travel Industry Sales. She has supported leisure luxury sales, luxury consortia accounts and focused on new business development. Prior to this, Stephanie worked at The Surrey and The Hilton Club.

FCM Travel Solutions

Clare Woo is appointed as its Human Resources Director for Asia and a member of Asia leadership team of the leading global travel management company FCM Travel Solutions, a subsidiary of Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG). Based at FCM’s regional office in Singapore, Woo is responsible for supporting the company’s Asian growth strategy through people development plans, transformation, implementation and deployment of end-to-end HR solutions. Woo has 20 years of experience across diverse sectors including automotive, consumer goods, luxury brands and reinsurance, bringing particular expertise in leading engagement with business leadership to build organisational and people capabilities.

SBC Travel Group

Shankar Kotha is appointed as the new Chief Commercial Officer, effective immediately of SBC Travel Group, a key player in the travel technology, digital payments and rewards industry. A respected travel industry leader with global experience across distribution, sales, revenue management and commercial operations, Kotha will direct all aspects of SBC Travel Group’s commercial function. A strong strategic leader and revenue strategist, Kotha brings 20 years’ of experience, having worked with some of the world’s leading tourism and hospitality brands in Australia, Asia and North America.

GainingEdge

GainingEdge has announced that Jon Sivertson, has been appointed as their new CEO. Sivertson, who is based in Vancouver, Canada, said that the role as CEO of GainingEdge was a good fit both in terms of his past experience and his future aspirations. Sivertson worked for four years in Hong Kong, first as Capital Projects & Infrastructure group leader for PwC and then in infrastructure consulting for KPMG. With over 20 years consulting experience, Jon previously worked with PwC in Canada, New Zealand and Singapore where he served for 7 years with PwC’s infrastructure group and was instrumental in it achieving its current status as a Centre of Excellence for the PwC network in SE Asia, Hong Kong and China.

InterContinental Hotels Group

Steve Carroll has been appointed as Senior Vice President, Capital Investments & Transactions, EMEAA and Greater China, with immediate effect for InterContinental Hotels Group. Steve will be responsible for asset management, including dispositions, restructurings and actively managing investment positions, with a focus on our Europe, Middle East, Asia & Africa (EMEAA) & Greater China regions. He will continue to work closely with IHG’s development teams to drive growth through our strategic approach to M&A and capital transactions, as well as IHG’s Americas team, to take advantage of cross regional opportunities and capital flows. Promoted from VP, Global Capital Investments & Transactions, Steve will be relocating to IHG’s global headquarters near London, UK.
