When purpose meets passion, the result is nothing short of powerful. On July 8, 2025, the Travel Network Meet (TNM) Global Forum hosted its much-anticipated Travel Synergy Roadshow at the iconic Hotel Hindusthan International (HHI), Kolkata—and what unfolded was more than just an event. It was a convergence of visions, voices, and values that are reshaping the travel and tourism landscape across India and beyond.

From its conception to its conclusion, Travel Synergy Kolkata stood as a testament to TNM Forum’s unwavering mission—to create a vibrant, inclusive, and forward-thinking platform that bridges the entire travel value chain.

Leading up to the event, excitement buzzed across the travel fraternity. Travel Synergy was promoted as a unique roadshow experience, one that would bring together a cross-section of industries—travel, tourism, hospitality, film production, education, and destination weddings—all under one roof.

Travel agents, hoteliers, tour operators, destination marketing companies, corporate travel planners, academic institutions, wedding planners, and film scouts all had something to look forward to.

In the words of Raj Basu, TNM FORUM Advisor and a staunch advocate of cultural tourism: “Travel Synergy is an innovative market platform for tourism and hospitality stakeholders. It brings together leaders and diplomats who act as catalysts for transformation. Kolkata, a city where every resident dreams tourism, gives us the perfect setting to engage and collaborate.”

Adding a touch of excitement, hourly lucky draws were announced as part of the agenda, making the day not only engaging but also rewarding for attendees. With Business Economics and Netpal Travel as official media partners, the event was guaranteed wide visibility and press coverage.

On the morning of July 8th, Travel Synergy came alive. The stakeholders from across India and neighbouring countries, each brought their stories, offerings, and willingness to connect.

The day began with a traditional Lamp Lighting Ceremony, symbolizing new beginnings and shared journeys. Dignitaries and diplomats from Japan, Bhutan, Nepal, and the Philippines added an international flair, emphasizing the platform’s growing global relevance.

Guests of Honour included leaders from major travel associations and state tourism boards, whose presence underscored the seriousness of TNM Forum’s intention to drive long-term transformation within the industry.

The exhibitor showcase was a highlight, featuring a rich array of offerings—from unique destinations and boutique accommodations to curated travel experiences—sparking in-depth conversations and promising collaborations. The exhibitor line-up included notable names like Lark Holidays (Thailand), Radha Krishna Holidays (Nepal), Esna Holidays (Sri Lanka), Island Life (Maldives), Riya Travel World, Maa Jagdamba Tour & Travels (Rajasthan), Spiceland Holidays (Kerala), Travel Shravel Tour & Travels (Jammu), Apple Tour and Travels (Kashmir), Sheldon Group of Hotels (West Bengal), Srinithi Travels (Andaman), Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR, Siliguri), Clara Tours, Pioneer Adventure Tours (Meghalaya), Sumi Yashshree Hotels & Resorts, among many others.

An Interactive Presentation Session allowed exhibitors to dive deeper into their destinations and services, sparking engaging discussions and encouraging collaboration among delegates.

The Meet & Greet zone became a hub of real-time business matchmaking, with wedding planners conversing with heritage property owners, filmmakers connecting with location experts, and educational institutions exploring internship and tourism curriculum tie-ups.

In a symbolic and heartfelt gesture, the roadshow also celebrated TNM Forum’s anniversary with a Cake Cutting Ceremony, honoring the journey so far and the road ahead.

Speaking at the close of the event, Susmita Ghosh, Founder of TNM Forum and Editor of Netpal Travel, shared:

“Travel Synergy is not just an event; it is a shared mission. A mission to unite progressive minds, exchange knowledge, and unlock new possibilities for our industry. Every attendee, every exhibitor, and every conversation added value. The success of this edition belongs to everyone who believed in the power of collaboration.”

With the successful conclusion of the Kolkata edition, Travel Synergy has set a precedent. It proved that meaningful conversations, when nurtured in the right space, can lead to powerful partnerships and purposeful change.

Plans are now underway for upcoming TNM Forum roadshows across other cities, with expanded international participation and deeper regional engagement.

As a proud media partner, Netpal Travel reaffirms its commitment to chronicling such initiatives that not only celebrate destinations but redefine the way we travel, plan, connect, and collaborate.

Because in the end, travel is not just about reaching new places—it’s about building bridges. At Travel Synergy, those bridges are being built, one meaningful handshake at a time.
