December has its own charisma – the time of the year when one feels like packing up, leave for a desired destination. Those days no more exist when hill stations are vacant, hotels are hardly operational during this time. Now people rush to hills to celebrate White Christmas and New Year.
Unless one has done advance booking, chances of finding a room are rare. The travel trade comes up with various winter special tour packages, exclusive holiday packages and lucrative promotional offers.
However, those who can afford still prefer to head to destinations like Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. But if one wishes to explore beyond the famous destinations, it’s time to explore some least travelled destinations in Europe.
