Saving vacationers and foreign business travelers, visitors who fall ill can now use an app to schedule doctor appointments while abroad and receive service from a private, pre-screened practitioner, in their native language. Regardless of how they come to the Emergency Room, they must navigate a foreign healthcare system in a potentially unfamiliar language that deters individuals from seeking the medical attention they need. Partnering with local physicians, Air Doctor is changing what travelers expect from care abroad, even allowing travelers to sign up at any time, even if they set out on their trip without insurance. Adding to their customer-focused services, Air Doctor will be launching a telemedicine service in the coming months. This will allow customers to have initial consultations with a doctor who is familiar with their local language, culture and medical systems.
