Russia is planning to introduce a digital travel pass, which will come as a mobile application for international flights that are within the EAEU. The main goal of this step is to speed up the recovery of the air travel sector that collapsed in the pandemic. The Russian Ministry of Transport is in the process of discussing the measure with various airlines. They are also planning on issuing the digital IATA Travel Pass.
