In December an audit held by Skytrax at Riga Airport, the efficiency and consistency of the epidemiological safety procedures, assessed by the independent auditors. The cleaning and disinfection procedures, the use of face masks, controls and social distancing policies, the use of personal protective equipment and the availability of hand sanitizers by employees are also assessed by the auditors. Guidelines for both arriving and departing passengers as well as comprehensible information on the epidemiological safety measures implemented is provided by Riga Airport. All customer service points are equipped with safety glass, protecting both passengers and employees and contactless hand disinfection stands are available at the airport.
