The Taiwan Tourism Administration (TTA) has recently collaborated with Thai Airways, Scoot, and Cathay Pacific to host a series of successful educational seminars across key Indian cities. These seminars, held in Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bengaluru, aimed to position Taiwan as a premier destination for incentive travel.
Named the “Educational and Networking Session,” the initiative focused on highlighting the flight connectivity between major Indian cities and Taiwan. The sessions were meticulously crafted to inform travel professionals about Taiwan’s potential for hosting large incentive events, ease of visa processes, flight options, and its comprehensive MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) infrastructure. The seminars also aimed to strengthen collaborative ties between the TTA and leading airlines through joint promotional efforts.
Each seminar featured a detailed destination presentation by Taiwan, an overview of flight connectivity and fares by the airlines, and interactive sessions for feedback and discussion. The events concluded with a networking Hi-Tea, providing ample opportunities for attendees to engage and connect. Approximately 150 representatives from leading MICE and leisure companies participated in these informative sessions, which were met with significant interest and enthusiasm.
In addition to these seminars, the TTA will be showcasing Taiwan’s offerings at ITB Mumbai from September 11 to 13, 2024, continuing its efforts to promote Taiwan as a premier incentive and MICE destination.
