It’s Time for Global Travel Experts to Meet Again!

Hello Readers,

The wait is over! The World Travel Market (WTM), the premier global travel event, is set to kick off on November 4, 2024, in London. Returning to Excel London from November 5 to 7, this 44th edition promises to be bigger and better. Last year, WTM 2023 welcomed 4,560 buyers, but this year, the event is set to host an impressive 5,049 buyers—an 11% increase and nearly 500 additional participants!

November is the perfect time for travellers. With the monsoons behind us and winter yet to take hold, the month offers clear skies, cool breezes, and endless opportunities for family vacations, adventurous getaways, wildlife explorations, and serene beach holidays. It’s also a season of grand festivals and celebrations that fill calendars worldwide.

In this edition, we explore a rising trend in the travel industry: sleep tourism. As stress and burnout become all too common, more travellers are seeking restful escapes to recharge both body and mind.

Meanwhile, the aviation sector is undergoing a significant transformation with the merger of Air India and Vistara, a bold move that reshapes the future of Indian aviation.

Additionally, Tourism Day at COP29, held on November 20, 2024, in Baku, Azerbaijan, brought global leaders together to discuss tourism’s pivotal role in addressing climate change.

Stay tuned for more updates, and we’ll see you again next month!

Happy reading,
