BLTM 2025 Sets New Benchmarks for MICE at Yashobhoomi

The eighth edition of BLTM 2025 wrapped up on a high note, cementing its reputation as India’s most influential platform for Business, Leisure Travel, and MICE. Held from 11th to 13th September at Yashobhoomi, India International Convention Centre (IICC), the three-day event brought together over 500 exhibitors and 10,500+ B2B visitors, delivering powerful business opportunities, networking, and knowledge exchange.

Inaugurated by Shri Kapil Mishra, Hon’ble Minister of Tourism, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, alongside ambassadors, dignitaries, and industry leaders, BLTM 2025 welcomed tourism boards, convention bureaus, hospitality brands, and leading players from 7+ Indian states/UTs and 5+ countries, making it a vibrant global gathering.

International participants included the Sri Lanka Convention Bureau, Israel Ministry of Tourism, St. Petersburg Convention Bureau, Northern Finland, and Visit Oulu, while Indian representation spanned Delhi, Odisha, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Jharkhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Meghalaya, and more.

The event stood out for its structured reverse networking model, where exhibitors visited seated buyers, ensuring focused conversations and higher business conversions. Complementing this were panel discussions, workshops, a CEO lunch, and multiple networking opportunities that kept the energy dynamic throughout.

This year, BLTM introduced two powerful initiatives: MPI Meeting Fundamentals Certificate Course by Meeting Professionals International, bringing global certification standards to India’s MICE professionals. Rural Tourism Pavilion, showcasing 50+ homestays from Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, offering sustainable, community-driven travel experiences and connecting rural entrepreneurs directly with corporate and MICE stakeholders.

Adding to its prestige, BLTM 2025 hosted the ICRT Indian Subcontinent Awards 2025, celebrating excellence in sustainable and responsible tourism. Supported by the Ministry of Tourism and presented by ICRT India Foundation, the ceremony graced by Shri Satpal Maharaj, Hon’ble Minister of Tourism, Govt. of Uttarakhand honoured change makers driving responsible growth across the sector.

With strong backing from the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, and robust participation from domestic and international stakeholders, BLTM 2025 delivered a remarkable showcase of innovation, opportunity, and collaboration—setting the stage for the future of business and leisure travel in India.
